ABOUT THERAPIST
Tatiana Tsarouk, Ph.D., member of the American Hypnosis Association, member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She came to Powell River 13 years ago and worked successfully as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist at the Sunshine Coast Health Centre www.schc.ca
She has 15 years of hypnotherapy experience in Moscow, Russian Federation, where she worked in the Mental Health Research Centre at the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences as a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and researcher. She also tought of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy course for continuing education physicians at the Moscow Medical University
She got her Ph.D. degree at the Mental Health Research Centre at the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in Moscow. In 2001, she was granted three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle by the National Institute of Drug Abuse, where she had a two years residency at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Science.
Dr. Tsarouk is a certified member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and certified for Hypnotherapy by American Hypnosis Association and Canadian Daybreak Therapy and Training Institution.

I was a client at Sunshine Coast Health Centre for 90 days. During that time I received 8 hypnotherapy session relating to alcohol addiction and overall healthy lifestyle changes conducted by Dr. Tsarouk.
